Originally formed in the summer of 2018, Stratus Defense was formed with the vision of becoming the next generation training academy for the private security industry as well as being a leading service provider for risk-management and investigative services. This vision is being accomplished through performance expectations as applied to students and practitioners alike, as well as utilizing and developing technology resources to bring the industry forward in ways it has fallen behind. 

With over a decade of experience protecting high net-worth executives, political figures, foreign officials, and our local communities, the founder and President, Ali Kiaee, is combining a background in computer science, his security industry experience, and love for teaching to lead an organization that provides practical and valuable services and training.

The values we hold at Stratus Defense are based in a call for service.  Service to others is in our DNA and thus a core value we seek out in our personnel and a value system we strive to develop in our students. We continue to work and offer at-cost or no-cost services to 501(c) organizations that provide help for abuse victims. Having investigated many abuse cases, we find it necessary to help fill the gap where law enforcement may have their hands tied in order to keep victims safe.
